OUTLAW RESULTS02-07-2012
Ironman distance in Nottingham: Full Report up now.
DTC had 9 starters in the Outlaw yesterday. The weather was kind, there was a little rain later in the afternoon, but generally it was a great day. Wind-wise the morning swim was fairly calm [particularly compared to the previous day!] though it did blow up a bit during the bike section.
We had 7 finishers: Liz Lamb was just outside the swim cut-off after an heroic struggle with her shoulder, and Helen Tones fell off her bike just after the 50-mile mark on the bike and got to visit the medical facilities. Thankfully, apart from some gravel rash and heavy bruising, only her ego was dented. Provisional results HERE [see DK's bike and T2 time!] Report and final results will follow.
