Water quality issues scupper a great day out.
From the TriHard website: Unfortunately the issues around water quality could not be resolved in time for planning to continue for the 2012 event.This years' event has therefore been cancelled. Work is continuing with the intention of holding the event in August 2013. The pool based novice event will also not take place this year.
There are still places available on Sat 18th in the Lakeland Traithlon based on Bassenthwaite [entries through TriHard]; and just outside York on Sunday 19th there's the Allerthorpe Classic [Standard distance, OW, entries through freebirdevents.co.uk] -no idea if places are available, but I couldn't see anything more local. |
