Summer Series starts this week
The Summer Series of Club Duathlons starts this week, on Thursday 24 May.. The session takes place at High Shincliffe on the 3rd Thursday evening of each month in May/June/July/ August [this month's session is exceptionally a week late because we all wanted to watch the professional bike race in Durham last week!] Club members should have got their Eventbrite invitation to pre-register for the session. Non-members can take part by registering on-the-day. Full details are HERE, but the short version is: Location: DH1 2PF Registration and sign-on: 18:00 - 18:30 Session charge: £3 for pre-registered club members, £4 for others. Briefing: 18:40 First runners off at: 18:45-ish Distances: 2 miles run / 11 miles bike / 2 miles run. A flashing red rear light is now a requirement for this session, and bright clothing is recommended. Summer Series dates: May 24 / June 21 / July 19 / August 16
