That's how long it took Hilary Ross to retain her European Duathlon Champion title....
Saturday, 16 April, Limerick.
Hilary Ross of DurhamTri, racing for TeamGB, retained her European Champion title at the Duarhlon Age Group European Championships in Limerick yesterday with a fighting performance. First in her age group out of T1, she was caught in the early stages of the bike section and lay 3rd at the 7.3km mark. By 11.2km she had got back up to 2nd, and by 15km she was leading again, but only for a period. At the 22.8km mark she had slipped back to 2nd, but at 26.7km she had recovered the lead which she held on to till the finish.
Well done Hilary!
