Website Photo Gallery (10 replies)

When the Gallery went up on the website first, it was password protected so that only club members could view. There are pros and cons to password protection and maybe it's time to discuss how the gallery works with everybody welcome to chip in.

The basic question is - should the Gallery be just for members or wide open?
You may have a view on this
- does it frustrate you that your granny/partner/buddy can't just click the link and see you in full flight?
- would you like Gallery absolutely wide open?
- would you like an open section as well as a private section? [don't worry about who's going to do it for now!]
- would you prefer to keep it private?
- have you experience of issues around this?
- have you simple solutions that can make everyone happy and comfortable?
- what do we gain by keeping it private?
- what do we lose by keeping it private?

If you have views/questions/answers/observations/concerns about keeping the Gallery private or about making it public, let's hear them!

Has anyone used a bike fitting service? If so where... I would like to be measured up because I've no idea whether my bike is properly set up. It would be good to find out if others had used this service or something similar. And of course whether it makes any difference

Saturday swin session June 20 - your views on this request (3 replies)

Durham Swim session, Saturday June 20:
There's a request from the Underwater Hockey club about using our timeslot as they want to host a competition on that day.
In return, they would be willing to give us their slot which is 6.30 - 7.30, on some other Saturday.
I spoke to Charlotte at the swimming pool, and because the pool is closed to the public at that time, the rules about photography would not apply so that we could have an opportunity to take photos and video.... I'm thinking Website photos and training videos, which under normal rules would be a non runner.
What do you think?
